Cheers to a New Decade!

Wow! 2019 was a whirlwind year! So many incredible opportunities both personally and professionally.

At Trinity Rep, I finished my first season as a full time employee this May. I continued with them this fall and had the opportunity to run some big shows during the 2019 year! I started January in tech for black odyssey, one of my favorite shows to date! (Even though I had the flu for almost the entire run!) I also made some garments for the production featured below!

In the spring, I built costumes for our musical Little Shop of Horrors at Trinity Rep. This was also my first “upstairs” show in our larger, Chase Theatre. I got to run this show with my fellow Costume Technician Alyssa!

I had an incredible summer, traveling half the country (25 states, six new to me!) to visit friends, family, and work two amazing theatre jobs! The first allowed me to flex my costume design skills by designing four shows during the 53rd Brownville Village Theatre summer season! (Pictured below are Zombie Prom, The Diary of Anne Frank, Murdered to Death, and Leaving Iowa.) I also spent some time in Vermont running wardrobe on All’s Well That Ends Well at the Bread Loaf School of English!

When the summer ended, things were back in full swing at Trinity Rep as we prepared for our world premiere season opener The Prince of Providence! I concluded my year building and running our annual production of A Christmas Carol. This years’ Carol was incredibly special to me, because it was my first time running the show. I served as Wardrobe Supervisor and had an absolute blast!

May the next decade bring more theatre, more opportunity, more joy, and more adventure!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
