About Lizzy
Lizzy Pegler (she/her) is a theatre artist with emphasis in costume design and construction who strives to create inclusive environments for everybody and every body.
Lizzy grew up in a small town nestled in the corn fields of Nebraska. After seeing her father on stage at the age of five, she knew theatre was what she was born to do! She currently works as a Wardrobe Supervisor with the Creative Studios by NCLH. Most recently, she has worked onboard the Regent Seven Seas Cruises on the Explorer and Splendor where she took care of five large scale production shows and two smaller “bumpers.” You can read more about her time onboard in her Current Projects blog!
2025 marks the tenth year Lizzy has been involved at the Brownville Village Theatre. During her tenure at BVT she has been a Company Member, Costume Shop Supervisor, Costume Shop Advisor, and Costume Designer for several productions. This summer, Lizzy was back full time as Associate Director - a full time spot in the company as an actor in three shows, director of the summer farce, costume designer of three shows and one hair and makeup design, and manager of the costume shop.
Lizzy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a minor in Music from Doane University in Crete, Nebraska. She also has a Master of Arts in Arts Leadership and Management at Wichita State University. Lizzy's diverse interests in theatre have helped shape her journey as a theatre artist and working in theatre has taught her the importance of hard work, the value of collaboration, and the thrill of following your passion.
Outside of theatre, Lizzy enjoys travel, pizza, and all things Disney.
