During my final semester at Doane University, I had the honor of assisting Dan Jones on a new musical about childhood hunger Puddin’ and the Grumble performed and commissioned by the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska. As Dan was located in Florida, my main job duties included taking measurements, providing on the ground support in Nebraska, pulling items from various costume storage areas, and attending rehearsals, fittings, tech, and performances as needed. Shown here are images of Puddin’ and Grumble, as well as initial renderings done by Dan.
