In 2020, I was so excited to assist designer Toni Spadafora-Sadler on our mainstage production of A Tale of Two Cities. Set in a library inspired by the Providence Athenaeum, the show was an adaptation of the classic novel by Charles Dickens. I was able to primarily learn under Toni, by attending production meetings and meetings with the director, sit in and take notes during fittings, pull from our warehouse and stock, build pieces for the show, and act as Wardrobe Supervisor for the production until it was unfortunately cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine.
